Crewe Alexandra striker Lauri Dalla Valle is delighted after extending his loan stay at Gresty Road.

“My team-mates are great with me and the fans have been brilliant” – Lauri Dalla Valle

The 21-year-old has already struck four times since being brought in from Fulham at the beginning of last month despite missing the weekend victory at Preston North End due to a foot injury.

However, the Finnish Under-21 international has since extended his current deal until the middle of January after continuing to impress manager Steve Davis.

“I was more than happy to re-sign here at Crewe,” Dalla Valle told Alex’s official website. “I was delighted that they wanted to keep me because I have enjoyed my time here. It has been brilliant, to play games, score goals and help the team.

“It has been great here since day one,” he added. “I’ve enjoyed the training, my team-mates are great with me and the fans have been brilliant in every game.”
