Salisbury Signs First Professional Deal

|

Crewe Alexandra have announced that Welsh youth international striker Connor Salisbury has signed his first professional deal with the club, his deal running for an initial three years with an optional extension.

Salisbury, 18, made his debut for the club in the EFL Trophy defeat against Rotherham United in January, the first of his 6 appearances for the club, before making his league debut at home to Plymouth Argyle the following month.

He has represented Wales as a schoolboy and represented them at Under-18 level against England in March 2021.

What does this signing mean for the club?

It’s great to have another one of our most promising youngsters tied down to a long-term deal as he’s a regular goalscorer in the youth teams.

He will miss a few months of the season due to an injury picked up at the back end of last season in an Under-23s game at home to Sheffield United.
