Crewe Alexandra’s out-of-contract striker Max Clayton is now training with promoted Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The nineteen-year-old had spent the past few weeks trying to earn himself a contract with Premier League Sunderland but that ended without any agreement being reached.
Clayton previously continued to reject the offer of new terms at Gresty Road following sixteen goals in 92 appearances for the club.
However, should he finally move on the Railwaymen would be due compensation due to his age.
