Crewe Alexandra have extended their loan of Fulham striker Lauri Dalla Valle by a further month.

“He’s done very well for us, has scored goals and he deserves to stay” – Steve Davis

The Finnish Under-21 international will remain with the club until mid-January after scoring four times in seven games since arriving at the beginning of last month.

Dalla Valle is currently providing valuable cover for sidelined striker AJ Leitch-Smith, who has recently returned to training
following an ankle injury.

“He’s done very well for us, has scored goals and he deserves to stay,” Crewe boss Steve Davis told BBC Radio Stoke. “We’re delighted to keep him, he’s delighted to stay and it gives us time so we don’t have to rush AJ back.”
