Striker Uche Ikpeazu has extended his loan at Crewe Alexandra from Watford until the end of the season.

The nineteen-year-old has scored twice in eight appearances since returning for a second spell at Gresty Road in November.

Meanwhile, Crewe were hoping to sign Derby County’s young goalkeeper Ross Etheridge, who has recently been on loan with Evo-Stik League Northern Premier First Division South side Leek Town.

That follows trialist and former Port Vale keeper Joe Anyon joining League One rivals Scunthorpe United until the end of the season following his release by Shrewsbury Town in May.
