Crewe Alexandra skipper Abdul Osman has returned to training following a foot injury.

The 27-year-old already missed the last four games but comes into contention for the weekend clash with Oldham Athletic at Gresty Road. Osman wasn’t risked in the midweek draw at Walsall.

The Railwaymen have seen their injury woes begin to ease of late with George Evans, George Ray, AJ Leitch-Smith, Ollie Turton and Uche Ikpeazu returning to action.

Otherwise, Max Clayton and Ryan Colclough remain out following respective ankle and hernia operations.
