Youngster Danny Shelly has signed a 3 year professional contract following his breakthrough into the Alex first team.

Shelly made his debut at Hartlepool in Dario Gradi’s last game as caretaker manager and followed that up with a wonder goal at Millwall in Gudjon Thordason’s first game as Alex boss.

This is a reward for Shelly who looks to have a bright future after coming through the academy.

Shelly has been tipped for a start at Peterborough tonight and will be looking to celebrate this extention by helping the Alex to 3 much needed points.
