Shaun Miller Re-signs For The Alex

|

Crewe Alexandra have announced the signing of former striker Shaun Miller on a 2-year deal with the option of a third year, his third spell with the club.

Miller, 30, came through the Crewe Alexandra academy system where he made 179 appearances (scoring 43 times) before he joined Sheffield United for an undisclosed fee in the summer of 2012. After permanent spells with the Blades, Coventry City and Morecambe as well as loan spells at Shrewsbury Town, Crawley Town and York City, he joined Carlisle United in the summer of 2016 where he made 71 appearances in all competitions (scoring 14 times) before re-joining the Alex in January 2018 on loan.

During his loan spell he made 15 appearances, scoring 6 times (including twice in the final game of the season as the Crewe Alex Academy 11 defeated Cheltenham Town 2-1).

He becomes the club’s second signing of the summer following the signing of Paul Green last week, another player that was on loan for the second half of the season.
