Gradi rues two incidents that changed the game.

‘It all hinged on two incidents, both in the first half. Luke should have scored and didn’t. He took the ball around the goalkeeper and didn’t show the ability to score.

‘Had he scored, and had the referee seen the handball, we could have been two up and playing against ten men, and the game would have been quite different.

‘We were still in it but obviously we would have preferred to be two up. I haven’t met anyone that hasn’t seen it (the handball) apart from the referee.

‘When people say to me about penalties, I usually say that I need to see them again but the significant thing wasn’t the penalty, it was the sending off. We don’t mind playing against 10 men.’
