Rochdale winger Adam Rundle is now said to be on Steve Holland’s rather lengthy list.
The 23 year old is a product of Newcastle United’s academy where he failed to secure a professional contract. He went on to play for Darlington, Carlisle and Mansfield before signing for Rochdale in 2006. Last season he helped Rochdale to the League Two play-off final with 6 goals & 10 assists during the season, including one against Stockport in the play-off final 3-2 defeat for Rochdale.
The left winger is still under contract at Spotland so would require a fee. However, it’s unlikely we’ll see any signings arrive in the next few days with Steve Holland at a League Manager’s Association course in Coventry.
The Alex are thought to be closing in on deals for Tranmere’s Calvin Zola, Stevenage’s Steve Morison and Livingston’s Robert Snodgrass.
