Welsh goalkeeper Dave Richards has signed a new 1 year deal with Crewe Alexandra, as announced on the official site yesterday afternoon.
Richards, 23, has yet to make his debut for the Railwaymen since signing from Bristol City in the summer of 2015 and has been the understudy for Ben Garratt during his 2 years at the club so far. He has been a regular for Alex Morris’ Under-23 team, although he missed the Cheshire Senior Cup final success after getting injured at Hyde in the semi-final.
He joins young midfielder Oliver Finney to have signed a contract extension since the retained list was announced last Tuesday afternoon.
