Former Crewe transfer target Michael Reddy is believed to be training with League One rivals Yeovil Town. He was linked with Crewe in the early part of last season.

At the time he was plying his trade with League Two side Grimsby Town. At 6ft 1 he would be an ideal target man and it will be interesting to see if the club will make a renewed effort to sign the Irish born Striker.

Reddy was released by Grimsby at the end of last season, he has now recovered from a hip injury and is ready to begin his comeback and hopes to fix himself up with a club shortly.

As he is a free agent he is available to sign outside of the transfer window. He scored 23 goals in a three year spell with the Mariners. He started his career as a trainee at Sunderland but didn’t start a league game for them and dropped down the division’s in order to secure first team football.
