In this column we’ll look at how the Under-18 team have done this week at home to Barnsley as well as how the players that are out on loan have done. There’s no Under-23 game in this round-up as they don’t play until Wednesday this week.

U18 Professional Development League 2: Crewe Alexandra 5-2 Barnsley
That victory keeps the Alex in 6th place, however we are only a single point behind Bolton Wanderers in the Northern section of the league with the next game for the Under-18s is on Saturday away at Colchester.

Loan Watch:
Harry Davis played the full game for St. Mirren in their 0-0 home draw against Dunfermline. Their next games are at home to Dundee United (who have Marcus Haber in their ranks) on Wednesday and a trip to Queen of the South on Saturday.

Lewis Reilly played the full game for Radcliffe Borough in their 1-1 draw at Hyde on Saturday whilst he also got the Borough’s goal in their 2-1 home defeat to Glossop last Tuesday night. Boro have Clitheroe in the Lancs Challenge Cup Trophy on Wednesday and host Ossett Town on Saturday.

Daniel Udoh came on for the final 15 minutes for Solihull Moors in their 3-3 home draw against Braintree in the National League as the Moors came from 3-0 down. They travel to North Ferriby this Saturday.

Luke Walley made his debut for Whitchurch Alport in their 3-0 home win against Bacup Borough playing as a forward and he also had a header cleared off the line 10 minutes from time. They travel to Ashton Town in the league on Saturday.

Ross Woodcock came off the bench for the final 20 minutes for Alsager Town in their 2-2 draw at St. Helens Town on Thursday night before playing the full second half on Saturday as they beat Cheadle Town 2-1.
