In the first of a regular column which will round-up Crewe Alexandra news that hadn`t made the site in its own column, we`ll look at yesterday`s Under-23 game against Bristol City in the Professional Development League, how Daniel Udoh and Oliver Finney did on their debut for Halesowen Town after their loan moves to the Northern Premier League side as well as looking at how the Crewe Alexandra Ladies have started the season.

Starting with yesterday`s Under-23`s game, goals from Owen Dale and Charlie Kirk either side of a Bristol City equaliser gave Alex Morris` side their second win of the season. Their next game is on the 16th at the Alexandra Stadium against Charlton Athletic (kick-off at 1pm).

On Saturday afternoon, Halesowen Town lost 3-0 at home to Basford United in the first qualifying round of the FA Cup. Udoh played the full game whilst Finney came on in the 54th minute. Their next game is against Stafford Rangers this evening.

Crewe Alexandra Ladies followed up their 2-2 opening day home draw against Morecambe last week with another draw, this time a 3-3 at The New Saints Ladies (unfortunately losing on penalties) in the 1st Round of the FA Women`s Premier League Cup. Their next game is a trip to Hull City Ladies next Sunday.

The final piece of news saw Billy Sass-Davies make his Wales Under-19 debut on Saturday against Iceland in a 4-0 defeat for the Welsh. He was also an unused substitute in a second friendly between the teams yesterday.
