Crewe Alexandra midfielder Abdul Osman believes his club can make a genuine push for promotion this season.

“I think we should be aiming for promotion” – Abdul Osman

The 26-year-old enjoyed a decent first campaign at Gresty Road having arrived from Greek side Kerkyra last summer.

But the Ghanaian soon proved himself to be a regular selection in the side with 47 appearances and reckons the Alex can significantly improve on their mid-table finish from last time around.

“What we have got here, I think, is good enough but that’s up to the manager to analyse and decide upon,” Osman told the Crewe Chronicle. “It’s up to him whether he wants to bring people in. Either way, I think we can do much better next season. I think we should be aiming for promotion.”
