Crewe Alexandra have completed the signing of Tottenham Hotspur winger J’Neil Bennett on loan until January, becoming the tenth signing of the transfer window.
Bennett, 19, has previously been at Queens Park Rangers before signing for Spurs as a youngster, making his debut for Tottenham in their recent UEFA Europa Conference League game at Portuguese club Pacos de Ferreira earlier in the month which Spurs lost 1-0 before Spurs went through over the two legs to qualify for the group stages of that competition where they will play against Stade Rennais, Vitesse Arnhem and Mura.
He has also been capped by England at Under-18 level in 2018 and 2019.
What does the signing mean for the club?
I know nothing about the player but after doing a bit of research, he’s a right-footed winger who plays on the left wing but is comfortable playing on the right and has deputised as a central forward for Spurs’ youth teams.
