Tom Pope will appear before Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court tomorrow after being charged with affray in February.

The fans favourite was charged earlier in the year, facing North Staffordshire Magistrates’ Court back in March. He is accused of affray in Hanley on February 8th, as reported in the Sentinel in March.

If found ‘guilty’ it’s unlikely Pope will face a jail term but not impossible. It would also beg the question about the striker’s future at the club, you wouldn’t expect this type of thing to go down well under Gudjon’s watch.
