Former striker Tom Pope has admitted a charge of affray at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court.

Pope left Crewe for Rotherham in a £150,000 deal just a couple of weeks ago, but always had the affray charge hanging over his head.

After pleading guilt on Monday afternoon Pope will be required for sentencing on July 31st.

The incident took place in Hanley on February 8th of this year.
