Midfielder Abdul Osman believes there is still plenty more to come from his Crewe Alexandra side.

“I still think there is more to come from me and more to come from the team” – Abdul Osman

The Alex suffered a disappointing 2-1 home defeat to new leaders Bournemouth in midweek but attention next turns back to securing a Wembley place for the second successive season when Coventry City visit for the second-leg of the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy Northern Area final next Wednesday.

Crewe would certainly appear to be strong favourites as they currently hold a commanding 3-0 lead from the first game following a tremendous display at the Ricoh Arena only last week. The Sky Blues have also since lost manager Mark Robins to Huddersfield Town.

“We have some tough games between now and the end of the season but we want to have them because a lot of them will be against teams who are close to us in the league,” Osman told Crewe’s official website. “It is still very tight and we have to find some real consistency now. I still think there is more to come from me and more to come from the team.”
