Eddie is a right-footed right-back who can play all across the back 4, making his debut for the club in the first game of the 17/18 season.
Eddie started his career at Blackburn Rovers where he made a solitary appearance in the then-UEFA Cup before gaining first-team experience at Stockport County, Hartlepool United and Preston North End, the latter he joined permanently. After spells on loan at Sheffield Wednesday and Scunthorpe United, he again made a loan spell permanent before moving to York City in 2015 then Blackpool in 2016.
He would leave the club when his contract expired in the summer of 2021.
