Chris is a right-footed striker who joined the Alex in the summer of 2017 from Colchester United.
He started his career at Bury before joining Oldham Athletic in the summer of 2005 then Motherwell 2 summers later. He returned to England in January 2009, signing for Derby County, and had spells at Sheffield United, Shrewsbury Town and Chesterfield (the latter two on loan) before joining Colchester in the summer of 2015.
He would be released in the 2022 retained list.
