Winger George Cooper completed a move to Peterborough United yesterday afternoon, the official site confirmed, on a three-and-a-half-year deal for an undisclosed fee.

Cooper, who turned 21 last November, signed his first professional deal in April 2014, winning League One Apprentice of the Year award in 2014-15, before making his first-team debut later that year in the Football League Trophy against Rochdale and scoring his first goal against Coventry in the league in October 2014.

In total, he made 128 appearances in all competitions (scoring 15 times) and was second in the Premier and Football Leagues in terms of assists this season.
