Pav Scores For Staff

Pavol Suhaj scored for Stafford Rangers in their 4-0 friendly win over Meir KA last night.

The Slovakian left the Alex this summer after two years at the club, and he’s spent the summer trying to find a new club. Pav has been linked to Rochdale and Blackpool, but he remains on trial at Conference club Stafford Rangers.

Another ex-Alex striker, Luke Rodgers, also scored in yesterday’s friendlies. The former Shrewsbury man scored in Vale’s 3-0 win over Tiverton, his second of pre-season.

Meanwhile, the Alex have taken non-league attacking midfielder Chamal Fenelon on trial from Pease Pottage Villa.
