Pair In Team Of The Week

Nicky Maynard and Michael O’Connor have both been selected in this week’s League One Football League Team of the Week, as chosen by the Press Association.

Both put in top performances over easter weekend, helping the Alex pick up four vital points. Maynard followed up his double against Hartlepool with a stunning opener against Walsall, leaving him with four goals in his last three games.

O’Connor meanwhile put in commanding displays in the centre of midfield with some brilliant tackling and excellent passes. The 20 year old could also be in line for his full Northern Ireland debut tonight.
