David Vaughan has been called up for Wales’ friendly against Bulgaria whilst Owain Fon Williams is called for Under 21 duty.

Vaughan returned to action at the weekend after a summer out injured. He played 60 minutes in the 2-1 win over Brighton after coming on for the injured Nicky Maynard.

John Toshack has rewarded Vaughan by calling him up for the full Wales squad to face Bulgaria on 22nd August. Vaughan already has 8 full international caps in his career.

Meanwhile, goalkeeper Owain Fon Williams has been called up for the Wales U-21’s. Fon Williams enjoyed a good pre-season with the Alex and the 19 year old is eyeing the number one spot before the end of the season.
