Nick Farquharson has moved to Nuneaton Borough on loan until the end of the season and will be looking to build on his 9 goals in 14 games for local neighbours Nantwich while on loan earlier in the season.

Winger Junior Brown has moved to local non-league side Witton Albion until the end of the season.

Another Crewe winger Colin ‘Junior’ Daniel has also moved on loan, joining Leek Town until the end of the season. Earlier in the season Daniel had been at Grays Athletic on loan but it became a pointless exercise for him as he only made one substitute appearance.

All three players have made a first team appearance for the Alex this season and will be hoping they can build some form at their respective loan clubs to take into pre-season in the summer.

Also to add to the three loans mentioned, scholar Chris Clements has joined Nantwich Town until the end of the season for some work experience. Clements has already scored 11 goals for the Under 18’s this term and will be hoping to build on that and gain some valuable experience across the Borough at the Weaver Stadium.

Be interested to see how Clements does. His record in the academy seems very impressive but you can never quite tell; Adam Warlow’s record for Witton was amazing, yet he never got a first team appearance (and rightly so according to some).
