Manager Steve Davis continues to search for a wide-man following the recent departure of Byron Moore.

“It is not urgent, but I would like another natural wide man” – Steve Davis

The 25-year-old left Gresty Road earlier this month after almost a triple century of senior games since turning professional seven years ago.

However, while Davis seeks to cover his absence, he said replacing him was “not urgent”.

“I think we have got to find another one if we can,” he told the
Stoke Sentinel. “To a certain degree I think Ryan Colclough can fill that role.

“He could fill that role with Brad [Inman] on the other wing and Pogs [Mathias Pogba] has been playing on the wing,” continued Davis. “It is not urgent, but I would like another natural wide man.”
