Crewe Alexandra manager Steve Davis is confident of a much better showing against MK Dons this weekend.

“We admired them too much but I think we are a much better team now” – Steve Davis

The Alex suffered a 6-1 mauling at the Stadium mk back in September but
should certainly be a far different proposition this time around.

“The MK Dons are the best side we faced this season and we showed them too
much respect down there,” Davis admitted to Crewe’s official website. “We stood off them too much and let them play the way they wanted and they took full advantage.

“We admired them too much but I think we are a much better team now,” he added. “We have improved and go into the game this weekend in much better form.”
