Crewe Alexandra won’t be moving for Fabien Brandy following his release from Rotherham United.

“I told him that our own squad was now at a maximum” – Steve Davis

The 25-year-old scored once in eight games during a recent loan spell at Gresty Road before returning to his parent club with a calf problem.

“I’ve seen that Feb has left Rotherham
and that he is available,” manager Steve Davis told Crewe’s official website. “I know his agent and we had a conversation about him.

“I was honest with him and just told him that our own squad was now at a maximum and I’ve improved our attacking options,” he added. “That is the only reason I wouldn’t be interested in him because he came here and did well for us.”
