New striker Mathias Pogba described a great opportunity after agreeing a two-year deal with an option of a third at Crewe Alexandra.
The 21-year-old Frenchman arrives having scored a dozen times for Conference runners-up Wrexham last season and after both clubs agreed a compensation figure.
“I am very happy to sign,” Pogba told Crewe’s official website. “I saw Crewe in the play-off games and they play really good football. I think I will fit in well.
“I managed to score goals for Wrexham and I want to do the same at Crewe,” he added. “I can play anywhere across the front and have played on the wing in the past. I would describe myself as powerful and quick and I like to score goals.”
Pogba is the third new arrival since the end of last season and follows experienced defenders Mark Ellis and Gregor Robertson to Gresty Road.
