Crewe Alexandra have confirmed that midfielder Regan Griffiths has left the club by mutual consent yesterday.
Griffiths, 23, came through the academy set-up at the club, spending time on loan at Kidsgrove Athletic, Witton Albion and Notts County during 2020 before making 52 appearances for the Alex in all competitions. He has spent the last four months on loan at 14th-placed National League side Boreham Wood, making five appearances, although he has not played since the end of September in a home defeat against Aldershot Town.
Also on the move is fellow midfielder Joel Vincent who has joined Runcorn Town on a month-long loan. The second-year scholar has been a part of the squad that got to the third round of the FA Youth Cup side that was knocked out at Arsenal last month and will spend the next month playing in the 10th tier where he will be a teammate of former Morecambe winger Kevin Ellison.
