Crewe Alexandra are keeping their fingers crossed that midfielder Abdul Osman’s latest injury doesn’t prove too serious.

The 25-year-old suffered a recurrence of an ankle problem during last night’s 2-1 home victory against Swindon Town.

Osman had to be replaced by Ollie Turton at half-time and is already rated doubtful for the weekend visit of Yeovil Town.

On loan Colchester United midfielder Andy Bond could take his place if he manages to overcome a groin strain in time.
