Midfielder Adam King has returned to parent club Swansea City after his six-month loan spell came to an end.

Manager Steve Davis was keen to retain his services but the 20-year-old Scot has been recalled by Swans caretaker manager Alan Curtis.

Edinburgh-born King scored five goals in twenty-six appearances in all competitions for the Railwaymen during a productive stay at Gresty Road

Davis still hopes to hold onto fellow loanees Ryan Lowe and Semi Ajayi while also looking to add to his squad.
