Crewe Alexandra have announced that second-year scholar Joel Tabiner has joined Leek Town on an initial one-month loan deal, with him potentially make his debut in their home game against City of Liverpool this afternoon at Harrison Park.
Tabiner, 18, has come through the Academy system with the club, making 4 appearances for the first-team with his first-team debut coming in the EFL Trophy win in November against Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Under-21 before his league debut coming at Burton Albion on New Year’s Day.
What are Leek getting from this signing?
Joel is a central midfielder who plays as a deep-lying player for the Alex at the under-age groups and has also played in first-team games as a left wing-back.
He’s joining a manager in Neil Baker that the Alex trust will help Joel with his development and him being involved in men’s football in their 4 games in the 8th-tier in this month-long period.
