Tomorrow afternoon sees Crewe Alexandra travel to Stadium:MK to face MK Dons with the hosts’ squad containing former Alex captain Luke Offord and loanee midfielder Joe White.

This Season:

This season sees The Dons’ sitting in 11th place in the league having beaten Carlisle United, Walsall, Harrogate Town, Morecambe, Accrington Stanley, Grimsby Town, Swindon Town, Cheltenham Town and Chesterfield, they have drawn with Doncaster Rovers, Bromley and Tranmere Rovers while they have lost against Bradford City, Colchester United, Salford City, AFC Wimbledon, Port Vale, Gillingham, Newport County and Notts County.

They lost against AFC Wimbledon in the FA Cup 1st Round and against Watford in the same stage of the Carabao Cup. In their EFL Trophy group, they lost against Colchester United, Arsenal’s Under-21s (on penalties) and Leyton Orient to finish bottom of their group.

Transfers:

They have signed defenders Laurence Maguire, Offord and Sam Sherring, midfielders Tommy Leigh, Connor Lemonheigh-Evans, Joe Pritchard, Liam Kelly, Tom Carroll and Kane Thompson-Sommers with forwards Callum Hendry, Aaron Nemane and Scott Hogan completing their permanent signings. Goalkeeper Tom McGill, defender Nico Lawrence, midfielder White and forward Sonny Finch have all joined on season-long loans.

Leaving the club this summer were Michael Kelly, Dan Kemp, Cameron Norman, Warren O’Hora, Ethan Robson and Mohamed Eisa left when their deals expired with several players leaving on loan deals.

The EFL have announced that Greg Rollason is tomorrow’s referee with Marcus Carmichael and Ravel Cheosiaua assisting him and Scott Chalkley the fourth official. This is the first Crewe game that Rollason will have refereed.
