This season sees the Bluebirds sitting in 2nd place having beaten Tranmere Rovers, Sutton United, Harrogate Town, Doncaster Rovers, Forest Green Rovers, Morecambe, Bradford City, Crawley Town, Colchester United, Walsall and Swindon Town, they have drawn with Accrington Stanley, Wrexham, Newport County, Notts County, MK Dons, AFC Wimbledon and Salford City while they have lost against Stockport County, Mansfield Town and Grimsby Town.

They lost against Maidstone United in the FA Cup 2nd Round after defeating Northampton Town in the previous round and against Bolton Wanderers in the Carabao Cup 1st Round. In the EFL Trophy, they finished bottom in their group after defeats against Blackpool and Morecambe before defeating Liverpool’s Under-21s in the final group game.

Transfers:

This summer has seen them make 12 permanent and 1 loan signing while 12 players have left the club permanently with Malakai Reeve leaving the club on a loan deal.

Joining the ranks at Holker Street are defenders Mazeed Ogungbo, Junior Tiensia and James Chester, midfielders Kian Spence, Dean Campbell, David Worrall and Owen Bray while forwards Courtney Duffus, Jamie Proctor, Emile Acquah, Sam Bellis and Dom Telford completing the signings. Midfielder Luca Stephenson joined the club on loan.
