Artell To Serve Touchline Ban Against Colchester

|

Crewe Alexandra manager David Artell will serve a touchline ban on Saturday against Colchester United after he picked up his 4th FA Stage 1 Warning of Technical Area Occupants, the FA have announced on Twitter this afternoon.

Artell, who took charge of the first team following the dismissal of the previous manager Steve Davis in January 2017, is always pushing the line when it comes to his conduct in the technical area and has picked up bookings against Notts County, Exeter City, Forest Green Rovers and MK Dons – all in away games. The fact that they are all in away games is probably because he spends the whole game in the technical area away from home whereas in home games he sits away from the technical area and bench for at least the opening half hour of games.
