Crewe have taken French defender Madji Baidomti on trial as manager Dario Gradi looks for a solution to his injury crisis. 27-year old Baidomti is apparently ‘big, quick and can head it’, and should he impress this week, could even be signed in time for the trip to Brentford on Saturday.
Baidomti has been recommended to Dario by Julien Baudet through his agent, as Crewe look to emulate the success they enjoyed with the signing of Madjid Bougherra last season. Baidomti has played for Poissy, Paris SG, Rouen and Levallois during his career so far.
