Loan Report – January 6th 2019

In this column, we’ll look back at how the players on loan from the Alex have done this week as well as looking at how they have done during their spell with their loan club. Returning to this column is Lewis Reilly, who joined National League North side Curzon Ashton for a month on Friday.

Brad Walker – Wrexham

Brad played the full game in the 2-0 defeat at Salford City on New Years’ Day before playing the first 82 minutes and getting booked in theirĀ 1-0 home defeat against Dover Athletic. He returns to the Alex tomorrow.

This season – 16 league appearances (20 in all competitions), 4 goals (all league)

Lewis Reilly – Curzon Ashton

Lewis played 77 minutes in Curzon’s 1-0 home win against York City yesterday.

This season – 1 league appearance

Will Jaaskelainen – Nantwich Town

Will played the full game for the Dabbers in their 1-0 home defeat to Witton Albion on New Years’ Day before keeping a clean sheet in their 0-0 draw at Gainsborough Trinity yesterday.

This season (includes previous loan spell with the Dabbers) – 15 league appearances (16 in all competitions), 5 clean sheets (all in the league)

Billy Sass-Davies – Leek Town

Billy played the full game for Leek Town in their 4-1 home win against Newcastle Town on New Years’ Day before playing 90 minutes at Ramsbottom United yesterday.

This season – 9 league appearances (10 in all competitions), 1 league goal

Josh Lundstram – Kidsgrove Athletic

Josh played the full game for Kidsgrove in their 1-1 draw at home to Chasetown on New Years’ Day before playing the full game in a 2-1 defeat against Atherton Collieries.

This season – 4 league appearances

Connor Heath – Newcastle Town

Connor played the full second half for Newcastle Town in their previously mentioned defeat at Leek Town on New Years’ Day, scoring his first senior goal in the process, before playing the full game in their 4-0 defeat at Radcliffe Borough.
