Crewe Alexandra hope to have on loan pair Chuks Aneke and Brad Inman back training later this week.

“I am hoping to have Brad back by the end of the week” – Steve Davis

However, tomorrow night’s visit of promotion-chasing Sheffield United to Gresty Road was expected to come too early for both of them.

Aneke was ruled out of the weekend victory at Colchester United with knee trouble while Inman hasn’t been involved since an ankle injury in the recent defeat to Hartlepool United.

Winger Michael West was also hoping to be available to train this week.

“I am hoping to have Brad back by the end of the week and that is the same with Westy,” manager Steve Davis told Crewe’s official website. “Chuks is okay and should train over the next couple of days.”
