Crewe are looking at bringing in a left sided midfielder on loan to replace the void left by David Vaughan’s departure to Real Sociedad.
The deal is unlikely to happen today, a deal for the unnamed player is likely to happen when the market reopens for loan deals in 7 days.
Crewe Vital will keep you posted when we hear more, Wages are the stumbling block and is why the deal will not be completed today.
Technical Director Dario Gradi told the official site “He is on wages that we can get nowhere near and we wouldn’t even try too. We are looking towards his club to agree to pay a larger percentage of his wages. From a footballing side of things, everything seems fine. It is just the difficulty with the finances.”
