Crewe will face Kidderminster in a pre-season friendly less than a week before the new season gets under way.

The game, to be played at the Aggborough in Kidderminster, will take place on Monday 2nd August – just five days before the new season gets under way.

As yet it’s the first and only confirmed pre-season game in the Alex’s diary but the club are expected to confirm trips to Quorn and Lancaster and a home game against Walsall in the coming weeks.

Dario though has ruled out any friendly against Liverpool, stating the ‘connection’ between the clubs isn’t what it was. However, a home tie against a ‘more modest’ opposition could still be on the cards.
