Rodney Jack, 34, is reported to be considering a contract offer from Bradford City after being released from Crewe this summer.
The once pacey striker-cum-winger re-signed for the Alex last summer after a successful trial, but Dario Gradi decided not to renew his 1 year contract due to funds, with Jack supposedly on high wages.
Jack, who remains Crewe’s record signing at a fee of £750k, now faces the task of finding a new club but it’s rumoured that Bradford City have long had a deal on the table for him.
Bradford were relegated from League One to League Two last season and, after a turbulent few months, their new manager Stuart McCall is looking to re-build his squad after a few departures, including Steven Schumacher’s move to Gresty Road.
McCall is expected to announce some new signings on Monday, time will tell if ‘Rodders’ is one of those.
