Jon Otsemobor is believed to be attracting attention from numerous Championship and League One clubs. The right back has done fairly well since his return to Gresty Road after beginning the season unsuccessfully at Rotherham. Semmy’s attacking instinct has seen him become a fans’ favourite once again at the Alex, though the club continue to work with the shy Scouser on the defensive side of his game. Coventry are believed to be keen on the right back, though QPR are believed to be most interested.

Having searched in vain for a right back all season. Crewe were on course to sign Polish right back Marcin Kus before Semmy returned to the Alex; a deal which was only scuppered by QPR’s late interest. However, Kus has failed to oust ex-Alex full back Marcus Bignot from the Hoops’ side, and is to be released by Rangers at the end of the season. Meanwhile, QPR have transfer listed current right back Marcus Bignot, paving way for the arrival of a new right back. However, QPR have debts of £18 million, so it remains to be seen whether they could afford to stump up enough cash to see Crewe part with their promising right back.
