Holloway dismisses Chadwick deal

Ian Holloway manager of Championship side Plymouth has dismissed speculation linking Nick Chadwick with a move to South Cheshire. The club made tentative enquires with Argyle coach Tim Breacker but were told to speak to the Plymouth supremo.

To date none of the Crewe management team has made contact with the Devon based club and the search continues for that elusive striker to bridge the gap created by the 2,500,000 sale of Luke Varney to Charlton earlier in the summer.

With time running out, they face a race against time to bring a striker in ahead of the big kick off against Brighton on Saturday. A whole host of names have been linked but nothing concrete has yet to materialise.
