Crewe Alexandra manager Steve Davis insists there’s much more to come from midfielder Billy Bingham after returning from injury.

“He can bring that passing ability to our midfield” – Steve Davis

The 25-year-old is back in the reckoning having been sidelined with hamstring trouble since the end of August. Bingham only joined the Railwaymen from Dagenham & Redbridge in the summer.

“It is great to have Billy back with us. His football is excellent and he has a good football brain,” Davis told Crewe’s official website. “He brings that quality and we have missed him.

“He can bring that passing ability to our midfield and I think that there is more to come from him,” he added. “He knows that the competition is fierce in our midfield at the moment and that can push him to another level.”
