Defender Harry Davis insists there definitely won’t be any easing off from his Crewe Alexandra side after hitting the fifty-point mark at the weekend.

“It was a great feeling for all of the lads after the game” – Harry Davis

That followed their 2-1 victory at Colchester United, although an opportunity to quickly add to that tally was ruined when a frozen pitch caused the postponement of the midweek visit of Sheffield United.

“It was a really good result against Colchester,” Davis told Crewe’s official website. “It was a hard game on a tough playing surface, but thankfully we dug in and came out with three points. It was a great feeling for all of the lads after the game.

“I don’t think we will set any [revised] targets really, I think we will just try and win every game that we play and see where that takes us.”
