It has been confirmed this afternoon that Harry Davis has completed a permanent move to St. Mirren following the expiry of his Crewe Alexandra contract in the summer. He has signed a one-year deal with the Buddies.

Having come through the academy system, he made his debut for the club in the final game of the 2009/10 season in a 1-0 home defeat against Bradford City before joining Stafford Rangers on loan for a month to gain some first team experience later in the year. Upon establishing himself as a full-back under Dario Gradi in the 2011/12 season, he scored his first of 12 league goals for the club at Southend and started the League 2 Play-Off Final at the end of the season under father Steve at right-back before playing at centre-back in the Johnstone`s Paint Trophy success the following year.

Upon the sacking of Davis Snr. In January 2017, Harry found himself out of the team for the first time in his career with new manager David Artell preferring to play George Ray alongside Jon Guthrie at the heart of the defence with Davis moving to St Mirren on loan for the rest of the season.
