Gudjon Thordarson says he will speak to defender Dennis Lawrence before deciding whether to play him tomorrow afternoon or now.
The Swansea loanee has been on international duty with Trinidad and Tobago this week, helping them to a 2-2 against El Salvador in the World Cup qualifiers.
The 33 year old is due back in the country and set to join up with the Alex squad in London today, but he isn’t guaranteed a place in the starting 11.
Gudjon though says he will trust Lawrence’s judgement and make his decision from there. Speaking to the Crewe Chronicle the Icelander said:
“I won`t risk him if he`s not right but he is a man of experience and he will tell me the truth when we discuss it. Then I will make a decision.”
