Crewe Alexandra midfielder Brad Inman has been given the all-clear following his weekend knock.

“It is believed that Inman may have suffered mild concussion” – Crewe Alexandra FC

The 22-year-old suffered a head injury in a clash with Sheffield United defender Chris Basham during the 1-0 defeat at Gresty Road.

He was immediately transported from the ground to hospital but discharged later that same evening following an x-ray on his neck.

“As is protocol with head injuries of that nature, Inman was placed in a neck brace and was taken to stretcher him from the pitch,” confirmed Crewe’s official website. “It is believed that Inman may have suffered mild concussion and Crewe Alexandra followed the implemented International rules in regards to players’ safety after suffering a serious head or neck injury.”

Inman was due to be assessed by the club doctor and won’t resume training until being given permission from him.
